Copycat Picante Sauce

Copycat Picante Sauce

1-28 0z can of tomato sauce
28 oz water
1 medium yellow onion
2 Fresh jalapeno peppers, with seeds minced
1/4 White vinegar
1 tsp of salt
1 TBS dried onion flakes
1/2 tsp garlic powder



Bring all ingredients to a boil in a saucepan over medium to high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat and cool. Store in an airtight jar in fridge until serving
